A SPECIAL INVITATION TO VETERAN'S OF ALL BRANCHES OF SERVICE

We would like to invite you to a special service at Parkwood Baptist Church.

Our “God Bless America” Celebration will be a very special service to honor

All who gave of themselves for a safe and free world!

Special Guest Speaker:

Brigadier General Charles W. Collier, Jr. will be the guest speaker. General Collier retired from the North Carolina Air National Guard after 35 years of service. His last assignment was as the Assistant Adjutant General for Air National Guard and also served as the Commander of over 1600 members of the North Carolina Air National Guard.

Special Recognition:

WW II Iwo Jima Survivors Association Unit will be present with their Color Guard Unit.

Displays:

In our Family Ministry Center there will be a vast display of each military era for your viewing. We will also have a special display of pictures of our family military and service personnel. You are welcome to bring your pictures to the church office by June 29th for our display.

“Free” Lunch:

Please join us after the service for an “All-American” lunch. You and your family are all invited to stay and eat with us in the Family Ministry Center.

Parkwood Baptist Church is located at 1069 Central Drive, Concord, NC.

From HWY 29 turn on HWY 73 –West. At the first stoplight turn right on Central Drive. Parkwood Baptist Church is located ¼ mile on the left.
