    My Father's House

    My Father's House provides an interim housing solution for families who find themselves facing homelessness in Cabarrus and southern Rowan Counties. 

     

    Baptist Sharing House

    The Baptist Sharing House is a ministry of the Cabarrus Baptist Association that has helped thousands of families with food and clothing since 1982 while also ministering to the whole person, which includes a person’s spiritual life and relationship with Jesus Christ.

      Missions Trips

      Parkwood takes teams on mission trips in North Carolina and the United States in order to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of others.  For example, our Student Ministry went to Kentucky in the summer of 2023.

       

      North American Mission Board

      Our church annually gives to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering which helps support Southern Baptist missionaries throughout North America and also partners with NAMB for other mission projects.

       

      NC Baptists on Mission

      Parkwood is active with the various ministries of Baptists on Mission.  Teams continue to serve in many different areas.

      Missions Trips

      Parkwood sends teams around the world to share the gospel.  Some upcoming trips include both deaf and hearing teams traveling to Brazil in the summer of 2023.

       

      International Mission Board

      Our church generously gives to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering which helps support Southern Baptist missionaries around the world and also partners with IMB for other mission projects.

       

      LINC-UP Missions

      Parkwood partners with Linc-Up Missions and missionaries Matthew and Kristin Trick to take the gospel to an unreached people group known as the Quilombolas in northern Brazil.

       

      Operation Christmas Child

      For over a decade, Parkwood has joined with Samaritan’s Purse to collect 1000+ boxes each year and help in the distribution center in Charlotte.

      HOW THE PRAYER CHALLENGE WORKS:

           Pray on the 10th day of every month throughout the year.

           Pray for a minimum of 10 minutes.
