    My Father's House provides an interim housing solution for families who find themselves facing homelessness in Cabarrus and southern Rowan Counties.

      The Baptist Sharing House is a ministry of the Cabarrus Baptist Association that has helped thousands of families with food and clothing since 1982 while also ministering to the whole person, which includes a person’s spiritual life and relationship with Jesus Christ.

        Missions Trips

        Parkwood takes teams on mission trips in North Carolina and the United States in order to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of others.  For example, we have partnered with Charity Mission Camp the past 2 years to help meet the needs of those in eastern NC.

         

        North American Mission Board

        Our church annually gives to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering which helps support Southern Baptist missionaries throughout North America and also partners with NAMB for other mission projects.

         

        NC Baptists on Mission

        Parkwood is active with the various ministries of Baptists on Mission.  Teams continue to serve in many different areas.

        In 2026 Parkwood is partnering with Baptists on Mission to send teams to Spruce Pine, NC, and Rose Hill, NC.

        Missions Trips

        Parkwood sends teams around the world to share the gospel. Some past trips have included both deaf and hearing teams traveling to Belize, Costa Rica, Honduras, and Spain.

         

        In 2026, Parkwood is partnering with Baptists on Mission to send teams to Ukraine.

        Our church generously gives to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering which helps support Southern Baptist missionaries around the world and also partners with IMB for other mission projects.

         

        Operation Christmas Child

        For over a decade, Parkwood has joined with Samaritan’s Purse to collect 1000+ boxes each year and help in the distribution center in Charlotte.

        10-10-10 Missions Challenge

        HOW THE PRAYER CHALLENGE WORKS:

             Pray on the 10th day of every month throughout the year.

             Pray for a minimum of 10 minutes.

             Pray over the 10 prayer requests that will be distributed and           updated each month and will reflect the current needs               on the field.
